Winding up CPH

.

Had a fabulous time in Copenhagen, culminating in a lovely house warming party for Klaus and Jens with some really stellar people (and family).

Robert-Michael and I took a bike tour, which is really the best way to do it. And we had a private guide, which was great.

We named our bikes Mustang Sally and Mustang Harry. (When Mustang Harry met Mustang Sally..)

And after the city bike tour, we took a tour of the Rosenborg castle. Very nice. But we were reminded why we avoid other tourists. I'm just glad the majority of the offenders may have been English-speaking, but not American. The grounds were also splendid.

I have taken hundreds of photos over the past few days-- Copenhagen is just a dream for architectural elements, good design, and a variety of patterns and textures. I have been collecting textures for a while and hope to make a good book out of it.

In Denmark, even something simple like a storm drain is approached with an appreciation for aesthetic.

And of course, the signs.
