let the river run

The Friday late night/early morning with Robin & Joe ended with an invitation to join them with their friends on Sunday for an afternoon on the Cumberland River. We set off from Rock Harbor Marina, where one of my favorite restaurants, the Blue Moon Café, washed away in the May Day Flood. We dropped anchor in front of Kenny Chesney's house (formerly Alan Jackson's), and you can see where the moorings are left from the floating dock which also washed away in the May Day Flood of 2010. Photos of Kenny Chesney on a boat over his lawn with the flooding Cumberland were in high news rotation at the time.
