An ad on the radio just used the phrase "make the yuletide bright." I'm guessing the original lyric "make the yuletide gay" has officially changed over to its new association. I'm also fairly sure there are plenty of ads in the Bay Area for gay yuletides, and they mean it in the modern sense. But still, a radio jingle singing "make the yuletide bright" made me chortle a little. My yuletide is so totally gay.
