The blogs and tech sites are abuzz today over the in-depth and well written article from Fred Vogelstein at Wired chronicling the behind-the-scenes stories leading up to the iPhone. Pretty dramatic stuff.And considering the Alert Readers who keep asking me when I am going to get one and why/why not, it should be an interesting read for IJS visitors.

Countdown to MacWorld next week! Considering how long it took them to actually roll our the iPhone and Leopard, both headline announcements at last year's MacWorld, I don't think Apple has had time to come up with anything new to announce this year. Movie rentals via iTunes and possible iTunes movie versions bundled with physical DVD sales don't count.
