I've had the devil of a time making the harness for my Blue Monarch costume for the Post Holiday Blues Party tomorrow. I have been wishing for a dressmaker's dummy.

On the way to lunch today, outside my house Shilpa spotted a headless/armless mannequin discarded on the sidewalk. And we thought "Hey! Free dummy!"

If you ever fall off the Sears Tower, just go real limp, because maybe you'll look like a dummy and people will try to catch you because, hey, free dummy.
