My favorite family/portrait photographer Simon James is expected to return to San Francisco September 29 to October 5th, although it looks like there might need to be a critical mass of reservations to justify a trip—he's headquartered in Australia but tours the US in our summer. Besides being an all around great person, Simon is some sort of crazy genius when it comes to family portraits. He manages adults and kids with equal aplomb, and his camera-to-laptop-to-big screen in your own home print selection process is no less than extraordinary. I really cannot recommend his services enough, especially if you are a family with kids.
Here are some photos he took of my family on the rare occasion of all of us in the same place at the same time.
