John Hardcastle left the party today just after noon, surrounded by his wife and sons, and departed as peacefully as could be hoped. The love he brought to this world was tremendous. Visitation with the family will begin at 11:30 Monday morning October 10, 2011 at Westminster Presbyterian Church. The Witness to the Resurrection will be at 2:30 p.m.
We ask that donations be made in his name/memory for the Warner Parks Shelter Restoration, specifically the preservation and restoration of the Indian Springs Shelter, where Papa John told many stories and led so many groups of hikers, walkers, campers, scouts, and friends of the wood.
