no toast to Napa

Or the City thereof.

Some lesbian tourists are starting to make a thing out of this, and I think it might be a "thing" worth making. So MANY gays and gay-friendlies in the Bay Area pop up to wine country so frequently, there is definitely an economic impact to be had. When choosing to "do" wine country, it may be time for LGBT and supporters to pick their stopping places more carefully.

From the SF Gate:
On Tuesday, Napa City Councilman Mark van Gorder asked his colleagues to support a resolution saying the "city does not support discrimination and finds that all people regardless of gender should be able to enter into the legal contract of marriage."

He was the only one who voted in favor.
The article continues.

But if we are going to spend our hard-earned disposable income on wine country, it should only be at venues that value us as people and citizens, not just wallets and palates.
