In the battle for hears and minds, we need to speak more like this.
Those against same-gender marriage cry havoc behhind the shield of "the children" and "the family."
What they continue to fail to understand is that they are right, and so their position is wrong.
Marriage equality is about family.
And that's why being against same-gender marriage is against family values, and abusive to children.
All other arguments marriage equality are thinly veiled excuses for unexamined bigotry. It's not like "gay marriage" will turn every man onto men and leave straight women to become old maids. Honestly, this is the sort of the argument we have to hear every day. It's time for the bullshit to stop.
