The literary journal The Farallon Review will be launching its second issue next Tuesday, June 30 at a party/reading at the Blue Macaw (2565 Mission Street @ 22nd).The event will be hosted from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and promises "Alcohol. Food. Frivolity. Camaraderie. LitQuiz."
I think I won the last LitQuiz, which made me an insufferable smarty-pants for the rest of the night. But it was good booky fun.
And the readings/hearings are well worth attending and purchasing.
Fans of James Hass (aka The Jamez) must attend.
