I am itching to see the sure-to-be-spooky Paranormal Activity this Halloween season. Some guys over at iO9 think that it was likely inspired by the short story "Whisper," which is available online as a free read from the good folks at Small Beer Press.

I hate slasher, I hate gore, but I love a good ghost story.
