charm alarm

I was immensely flattered several times last night by cowboys telling me I was the most charming southerner they'd ever met. And for the most part, yes, I'm all about the good manners.

One accused me of having a pitcher of sweet tea always chilled just in case a visitor came calling. Another quoted one of my earlier comments back to me.

True, thanks to fraternity brother and South Carolinian Sean Scoop I am now addicted to the Seagram's Sweet Tea Vodka (tasTEE!). And last week I did through off one of my views on dating (first dates or otherwise): "Shaving your balls is just good manners."

Now they think I need to make t-shirts or new calling cards:

Sweet Tea & Shaved Balls
Just Good Manners

I'm thinking not. At least not yet.
