WAR walking

When wifi was new, WAR driving was thing. Driving around with the laptop scanning for wifi access points and mapping the neighborhood and noting the wifi names. When we wifi were few, we had a lot of fun with wifi names (after all, only other geeks could see them). And we all left them unlocked to share the access communally. Today networks tend to be locked down.

Now in most of SF you can see a dozen or more wifi networks from your phone. My friend thought it was funny to name their home's wifi network "Male Brothel and Day Spa." Then he saw this while he was taking a walk in his suburban neighborhood and had to share. Which is why we like him so much.
