a spirited good time

Kevin and I always love a theater invitation, and we joined Terrence and his friends for Matt's (his kids' new tutor) performance in The Grimaldis on Saturday. Much fun. As the ghosts of the performing Grimaldis over the centuries rise in the auction house, we are treated to a range of entertainment skills, including magic, ballet, fortune telling, song, ditties and perhaps most notably, aerial acrobats. Well acted and delightful It's concluded it's current run in San Francisco, but I imagine the work will continue its journey of refinement and performance and appear again in a more polished form.

Although I must say that while there is minor work to be done from the audience's point of view (I now understand it is a challenge for the actors and musicians), this night's performances were nearly flawless.
