Dating, history

I once had an ex give me the evil eye and cold shoulder for over two years because once, late night in a bar, I quipped that he "had more baggage than the Oakland airport."

Now we all have our own set of emotional baggage-- some of it matching, some of it designer, and some terribly battered. And frankly it's to be expected for people to bring their respective baggage on first dates and into relationships. I just have a rule that any emotional baggage you bring on a date with me must be able to fit in the overhead compartment.

Of course, losing one's emotional baggage may or may not be healthy.

Losing actual baggage--now that the a-hole terrorists have it made so you pretty much have to check everything--is certainly not mentally healthy.

It's a "nightmare."

If this keeps up we'll be back to taking the stage.

10,000 bags misplaced at airports

Tell me about it. No toothpaste from Johannesburg to San Francisco. And, I got hauled into security for wielding the ever-dangerous chapstick.
