I thought I was maudlin before...

...now I am just going to weep unabashedly.

The CW, in an attempt to make sure their entire lineup is only crap and nothing but, has not renewed Veronica Mars for next year.

Tonight the CW airs the series finale to Veronica Mars (TVw/oP).

There was an underground buzz of re-vamping the show into the future with VM at the FBI, which would be cool if she could still be sassy (I am now imaging her blond wittiness versus Hannibal Lector). But sadly, it seems such did not come to pass.

Now I will have to content myself with virtually stalking the enough-to-make-a-gay-man-stray Kristen Bell.
