which computer is right for you?

I am still annoyed at the for-hire advertisement posing as an editorial claiming that Apple computers are expensive because of some sort of "cool tax" and the ridiculous "if you can find it you can have it" fake computer shopping ads with actors posing as "regular people" looking for a laptop under a thousand dollars and therefore shunning the expensive MacBooks. The former article has been debunked and trashed over and over again, but lazy pundits continue to reference it.

The other Microsoft ads continue to plague the television waves (or rather cables now I suppose).

Apple has a new set of "Hi, I'm a Mac" ads targeting some of these deceptive Microsoft ads. The first touts that while there are many PCs, none come with the level of customer satisfaction and easy, available customer service that Apple provides. (And what cost that? Any answer translates to "worth it!") My favorite is the "Elimination" ad, parodying the "regular people"' actors looking for a specific set of features in their computers (and therefore finding the Apple's "too expensive.").

I credit the copy guys a lot for this one. The last line brings it home.

"Hi, I'm a Mac."
"I'm a Megan."

I want to work there.
