Bondage gets me excited

I am crazy excited to see the new Bond flick tonight. I loved Timothy Dalton as Bond because he took it to a more faithful, tough, hard place. But still, for me that Bond was a little too cute, and way too long on running time. Bronson has been a delight, but in an overly slick, flirty, wink-at-the-audience sort of way.

The reviews of the hard-bodied and hard-edged Craig have been beyond stellar. I am looking forward to a Bond flick with a dangerous agent who has more acting talents than gadgets.

Give yourself a treat and read this Rolling Stone review.

Update: Best Bond movie ever. So many people are saying Daniel Craig is the "best Bond since Connery" but I will risk the ire of the blindly faithful acolytes and say, no, Craig is the best Bond yet, period. Yes, even better than Connery. And while the shameless promotion in Die Buy Another Day was nauseating, the product placement in Casino Royale was distracting and sickening, but only to the level of annoyance, and only about five or six times. Product placement should not eject the viewer from the story and make them realize they are watching an advert.

Short review: I loved this movie--beautifully shot, well written, and with stellar acting. And it was cool.
