I've always wanted to be a professional copy writer. But one that got paid well.

You may have been able to tell from some of my post titles, once upon my dream job was to be the guy who came up with the punny headlines for Entertainment Weekly.

Apparently, one can get paid a bank without actually being that clever at writing copy. The government of Scotland (land that I love) just paid 125 thousand pounds (which at today's exchange rate must be like a kazillion dollars) for a new national slogan to attract tourism.

And what did they get for their £125k?

"Welcome to Scotland."

Seriously.

I have got to get me a job as a government consultant.
