blotto

Everyone, and I mean everyone, bought a mega millions lotto ticket last night. People in the bars were talking about it, and anytime anyone opened their wallet to buy a drink, or fumbled in their pocket for their phone, they'd invariably pull out a lottery ticket.

It has gotten insane. And the payoff is at over $600 million. A dollar for an impossible number is worth the price for the daydream.

I bought five.

By now, they've already identified the winning numbers. I haven't checked mine. As long as I don't check, I can keep the idea of winning without confirming the losing.

It's the Schroedinger's cat of lottery tickets.
