Sigh. While I am enjoying my quiet time somewhat, and I recognize that it is entirely necessary, I sense the fun and activity around me and I still feel the pull. Taking care of myself, this weekend I refrained from Nasty and Bearracuda with good friends, only to look upon their online updates with envy.
I finally posted myself: This whole "being responsible" and taking it easy thing is remarkably more boring.
Responded the Loose Cannon: You sound like my grandmother; she said stuff like that all the time. My favorite was "Getting old is the dullest thing I've ever done." And she meant it.
I need some springtime in my body and soul. At least even my dull is pretty sharp.
