Perhaps I should keep my work separate from my play. I already have different cards for work and for fun.
Conversation with administration today, with "Cookie" who herself if Asian, but more central Californian than anything, and entirely wholesome:
Me: "I need to verify some information regarding [difficult Chinese name]."
Marie: "Oh my. Can you spell that?"
Me: [Spelling]
Marie: "[tries to pronounce it back]. Wow. And to think I'm taking up Mandarin."
Me: "I'm only taking up mandarin and sodas. I gurantee you my classes are more fun."
I am the great corrupter.
