you copter; you brought her.

Ever since I saw this over at Think Geek, I've wanted one. I asked brother Mac and brother Jay if they thought this would be a good gift for nephew Bradley (son of Jay). Mac said he wanted one himself, but that was giving Bradley stock.

Now, while at 36, I'm wishing I had uncles who gave me stock way back when. But Bradley, at 13, I think would rather have a cool gadget.

Last year or the year before, Papa John bought us an incredibly expensive RC helicopter that never worked. The video on the Think Geek product page looks good, but they say it takes lots of practice to keep from crashing. Think Geek: $50.

Today I saw the same helicopter featured over at Gizmodo, with a link to a Hobbytron product page: only $40. (plus $7 shipping)

$50 worth of stock may appreciate, but an indoor remote control dog/sister/parent annoyance device will be appreciated.

Heh heh heh-- "only indoor use." The parents will love that.

Just ordered one.
