TGIF

It has been a very busy week and a very busy day over here at IJS, and so there has been a somewhat low rate of posting.

Just a few items to wrap up the week:

• While I think I will still wait for Apple to release a version of AppleTV with a bigger hard drive, it is nice to know that there are options.

• This life-sized version of the board game Mousetrap is way cool.

• Shout OUT to cousin Barry who is shopping for a new computer for either her or the kids, and is invsitgating the switch to an iMac for the both of them. It seems that getting the husband to abandon Windows will be the main hurdle. But with BootCamp and Parallels, it should be a non-issue. Frankly, I think they should trash all threee old computers in the house (his, hers, and kids) and get one MacBook and two iMacs. Sure, one iMac is good for the whoel family, but their issue is that everyone wants to use the computer at the same time. And both of their kids are under 10.

• I have postponed the surgery indefinitely--until some time when both my chest and my calendar are clear.

• I have also decided to take my vacation in May and go home to see the baby, chill by the pool, and go to the races. Some of the boys have invited me along to Hawaii, but I do not have that beach body yet...

• And it is too soon to say anything official, but this Friday the 13th may be lucky as it appears that the Beast has been mortally wounded.
