celebrating diversity

As much as I try to obscure my place of employment on the blog, I am proud to work for an institution that actively pursues diversity and has many demonstrative inclusion practices. During a relatively boring, work-related survey, we were asked to self-identify some demographic information.

I was struck at how matter-of-factly inclusive the gender question was stated. This is what diversity and inclusion look like when put into daily business practice. Can you imagine how much general stigma might erode across the country if this is were the standard for how this question was posed?

It's the little things than can do so much.
