Cole Hardware always has great window displays. The Cole Hardware on Fourth has some cool stuff, but the Cole Actual on Cole Street has some beauties this week. Neither, surprisingly, are holiday themed (no Chinese New Year, Mardi Gras, nor Valentine's). This was just delightful though, illuminated with blue gels and maybe a black light. It was just the whimsy and creativity that caught my eye, and I appreciated that the comet through the night sky was Comet scouring powder.


But then I looked closer at the animals and artifacts on the moon among the stars:


There was a cat with a fiddle, a cow jumping over the moon, a little dog laughing, and if you look in the back, a dish cuddled up with a spoon.
