According to employees present at the scene, the brawl turned into a hundred-person mob that took an hour to clear out. The decision to close the store came when it took officers “about 20 minutes” to get to the scene, since the foot and vehicle traffic was so thick.

Rapidly hating 420, and willing to support fire hoses. This isn't celebratory of anything, excepting being a selfish user, infringing on others' freedoms, and being destructive to the City the participants claim to love.

For all the right-wing pearl clutching regarding gatherings like the Folsom Street Fair, at least those folks have their shit together, pay for city services, clean up after themselves, and raise a truckload of money for charity in the process. That's good for the City all the way around.
