Nasty, the filthy fundraiser for the AIDS Emergency Fund has become a regular monthly event at the Powerhouse. Produced by Tod Epperson and hosted by Suzan Revah, the now recurring event is a big success. Jimbo and I noted that the Nasty event feels more like a slightly salacious cocktail party (putting the cock, and or tail, in "cocktail" I presume). There are enough of your friends there that you know plenty of people to talk to, and plenty of friends-of-friends and new people to be fresh and entertaining. The energy vibe at these events is very much that of a personal party, not just "going out to the bar."
The performances and free chair massages were awesome too!
