A good friend of mine does not mix well with technology. I try to keep him away from anything with free flowing electrons.
He is exceptionally social though, and cannot be without a smartphone. Unfortunately, he has a terrible track record with mobile devices. Even so, he has become quite prolific with his text messages.
Although now he has started to unintentionally send text messages to my work number. The mobile company has a service that converts, as best it can, the text to speech when sent to a land line. I just got another one in my voice mail this afternoon. Pretty hilarious.
