Typically bigots like The Westboro Baptist Church "God Hates fags" loonies and the Tea Party Rally attendee are also morons. Which is to be expected as bigotry and stupidity tend to go hand in claw. Conversely, those who seek to mock this flotsam of humanity are often exceptionally clever. We have seen some genius takes on signs satirizing the WBC signage, and last week there were some really awesome signs on display at the Rally to Restore Sanity.
The Sci-Fi blog iO9 tried to cull together some of the more nerdy,
sci-fi-centric signs, which were also pretty awesome. These in particular I thought were worth sharing.
That's Admiral Akbar on the left with "It's a Trap!", Chewbacca's sign says "Let the wookie win." and the female Han Solo's sign reads "We're all fine here now, thank you. How are you?"
