While checking the status, I found a nifty site that you can use to double-check if a site is down or not. And it is called, reasonably enough, "Down or Not?" According to those folks, Flickr is in fact down.
Update: Flickr is back up.

Flickr is down
Weird. I would expect Flickr (now part of Yahoo) to have multiple mirrors and redundancies in place to prevent an outage, but it's been down all day. Flickr-hosted photos on the blog, however, continue to appear—so I don't know what's happening to their hosting capabilities.
