Saw the SF production of Rent last night, with returning originators Anthony Rapp and Adam Pascal at the Curran last night. And as expected, it was awesome. Shilpa was excited to see her "first musical," however Rent is a rock opera and not really a musical. This is not Show Boat.Thanks to Sean Ray of SHN for putting together a night/block for his VIPs to purchase so we could have out our little party night.
I got to see the original cast so long ago, and last night's performance brought back the magic. Go, and pay the premium for orchestra seats.
