Of course, Reno 911 isn't so funny when you consider how effective the police/justice system is in San Francisco. Is it any wonder that we, the residents or SF, or routinely victimized by auto thefts and auto break-ins? I have had my car stolen once, and windows smashed in and posessions stolen three times since I moved here.
What sucks, beyond the obvious, is that this is commonplace, and the acts of vandalism are by repeat offenders who just continually rotate through the revolving door of City Hall/the police station without being stopped. One man, hundreds of victims, no real jail time.
