downwardly MobileMe

Apple's launch of MobileMe and the transition from Dot Mac continues to, well, suck.

Luckily, my problems have been minor. ButI don't even have an iPhone yet, and those information services rely on MobileMe.

The Apple support discussion boards remain extremely active with MobileMe complaints.

Now that grand and revered tech reviewer Walt Mossberg of the Wall Street Journal has weighed in. Generally Walt is impressed with the quality and experience with Apple products.

And Walt calls Apple out for this fiasco. The headline: Apple’s MobileMe Is Far Too Flawed To Be Reliable. His final words: "If Apple does get MobileMe working smoothly, it could be a terrific service. But it’s way too ragged now."
