As of 8:00 this morning, the fire was reported at 20% contained.This is not good.
But some of the photos of the blaze last night are beautiful, in their own tragic way.

The brush fire atop Angel Island is 20 percent contained, officials said this morning as they prepared to bring in helicopters to battle the fast-moving flames.
The fire has consumed 250 acres on the island since it broke out at about 9 p.m. Sunday, glowing so intensely that the blaze could be seen from throughout the region.
Some 200 firefighters are "continuing to work to protect structures and trying to hold the initial contingency lines that we have in place," said Marin County Fire Battalion Chief Mike Giannini.
More firefighters are expected to arrive to help relieve those who have been working through the night, Giannini said.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
For non Bay Area residents, Angel Island is a park in the in San Francisco Bay between San Francisco and Sausalito.
