It seems that some Mormons are upset with the millions of dollars and inestimable amount of hatred that their church body has thrown into Prop 8 to eliminate equal marriage rights to all California citizens.

Mormons are called to Stand for Something, and some of the better angels have created a website calling for the faithful to Sign for Something, and stand up AGAINST Prop 8. They also have prepared some interesting documents on how supporting Prop 8 is expressly against LDS teachings.

Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints have been taught, “We do not believe it just to mingle religious influence with civil government …” (Doctrine and Covenants 134:9). Recent action taken by the First Presidency in support of a constitutional amendment in the State of California has rallied us to the cause of freedom.

Say NO to Prop H8.

It's the Christian thing to do.
